We speak with potential clients and partners every week. Many of them ask the same thoughtful questions about how we work, what we specialise in, and what to expect from a collaboration. So, we decided to put together this FAQ with our most common answers, to give you a clear and honest look into how things run at Diversido.

1. What is your work approach?

We usually work using either the Time and Material or Fixed-Price approach.

Time and Material offers flexibility, a quick start, and allows for on-demand tasks without the need to approve and scope everything in advance. It’s ideal for long-term collaborations.

Fixed-Price works best for projects with a clear and settled scope, and a defined budget for the full product. For fixed-price projects, we always start with an Elaboration Phase — the goal is to define the scope and carry out all necessary research to provide an accurate estimation.

In both approaches, we apply Agile best practices — including daily meetings, regular status updates, planning, demos, and retrospectives.

We also follow a Continuous Delivery model with the Earliest Usable Product approach (as described by Henrik Kniberg), ensuring there's always a usable version of the app, and functionality is added gradually.

2. Where are you located, and how do you handle time zones difference?

Our company is registered in the UK, but our development team is fully remote. We have people in Denmark, the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Croatia, Turkey, and Ukraine.

We believe regular communication is key, regardless of geography.

  • With European clients, we usually have full working-day overlap.
  • For the US East Coast, we share about 4 working hours, which is enough for meetings and daily syncs.
  • For the US West Coast, we hold our daily meetings toward the end of our day (and the start of theirs), which works well for decision-making and updates.

3. How do you communicate? Can we speak directly with developers?

Transparency and communication are core values at Diversido. Our developers regularly communicate directly with clients in video calls and Slack channels.

We use task boards that are always kept up to date, with clear task statuses. We encourage regular calls with the team, ideally daily, but at least once per week.

4. What services do you provide?

We offer full-cycle web and mobile app development — from early-stage idea discussions and wireframes, to publishing the finished product to production and app stores. Our team includes: UI/UX designers, Product managers, Backend, frontend, and mobile developers, QA engineers, and Project coordinators.

Our core technologies include Node.js, ReactJS, Flutter, Xamarin, and MAUI.

5. Do you offer support after the project ends?

Yes. All our fixed-price projects include two months of critical issue fixes.

After that, we offer two types of ongoing support:

  1. Monthly reserved hours — a set amount of hours per month with dedicated resources
  2. On-demand support — available as needed, with rates based on task urgency

6. How much does software development cost?

To evaluate each project properly, we start with an Elaboration Phase. During this stage, we gather all requirements and conduct the necessary research to provide an accurate estimate.

Our rates range from $30/hour to $75/hour, depending on the specialist’s experience level and the complexity of the work.

7. What is your area of specialisation?

We specialise in several key industries:

  • Healthcare (including HIPAA compliance, wireless devices, EHR/EMR systems)
  • Gamification (especially in healthcare and education)
  • IoT
  • Education
  • Entertainment

We’ve worked in each of these areas since 2013.

8. How big is your team?

We currently have 37 specialists on our team.

If needed, we can hire dedicated developers for specific projects. On average, it takes us around one month to find the right candidate.

9. Can you show your clients’ feedback or provide this reference for a recommendation?

Yes! You can find verified reviews on our Upwork, and Clutch profiles. We’re also happy to connect you with past clients directly for references — just let us know!
