Helping people relax through colouring

Master Peace is a colour-by-number app designed to help people cope with stress and anxiety. With carefully curated images, relaxing music, and intuitive navigation, the app makes it easy for users to unwind and focus.

When Diversido joined the project, the app was already developed in Flutter, but struggled with performance, usability, and cost efficiency. Our task was to make the product faster, more engaging, and sustainable, and support its growth with marketing.

Our Contribution

Diversido provided end-to-end improvements for Master Peace, including:

  • Performance optimisation – reduced initial loading time from 2–4 minutes to just a few seconds by restructuring how content was downloaded.
  • Image sourcing and optimisation – cut the cost of new illustrations by three times through stock image curation and custom adjustments.
  • Bug fixing & compatibility – restored previously unused image libraries, making them fully functional in the app.
  • UX improvements – added onboarding screens (used by 60% of new users), simplified navigation, and introduced offline mode.
  • Marketing support – ran ad campaigns (Facebook, Google, Apple, Pinterest), optimised app store listings, and created a landing page with a responsive design and fast loading speed.
  • Monetisation – integrated AdMob and Appodeal, developed a push-notification plan, and tested different user flows (e.g. removing mandatory registration to increase retention).

Results

  • Loading speed reduced from several minutes to a few seconds
  • User base grew to 50,000+ installs in the first year
  • Illustration costs cut by more than 3x
  • Engagement increased with offline mode, onboarding, and music integration
  • Landing page built to support campaigns outside App Store restrictions
